Samsung Z1 Smartphone

The Samsung Z1 smartphone was launched in January 2015 and was the first Tizen-based mobile to be offered by the Korean tech giant. This was a budget device with a 4-inch touchscreen with a 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

This is a no-frills phone that is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 768MB of RAM. Internal storage is 4GB, which is expandable via a microSD card (up to 64GB). One point which is important to the indian sub-continent, and also for the far east, is dual SIM card support. Both slots support 3G networks.

On the camera front, we have a 3.1MP main shooter and also a 0.3MP selfie camera. It certainly won’t pick up any photography awards for this combo, but the idea is to stick to a low price point. The Z1 was originally shipped with Tizen 2.3, but later was updated to Tizen 2.4
